The National Hockey Festival will move to theCity of Phoenix for its 2010 and 2011 editions. The Phoenix Regional Sports Commission, in partnership with the Greater Phoenix Convention & Visitors Bureau and City of Phoenix Parks & Recreation, will serve as tournament hosts. Reach 11 Sports Complex in North Phoenix will play host to the four-day long event that traditionally begins on Thanksgiving Day. Reach 11 currently has 18 lighted fields for play.
“USA Field Hockey is delighted to bring the National Hockey Festival to Phoenix,” said Karen Collins, Director of Event Logistics for USA Field Hockey. “Reach 11 Sports Complex is a fantastic facility, and the location is very accessible to athletes and their families traveling from across the United States. We look forward to working with the Phoenix Regional Sports Commision."
